9.4.9 Cobalt group metals

Abstract

This chapter presents data on diffusion of hydrogen and its isotopes deuterium (D) and tritium (T) in cobalt group metals, particularly for cobalt (Co). Various methods shown in this chapter have been applied to the study of hydrogen diffusion. Arrhenius parameters including preexponential factor (D0) and activation enthalpy (Q), hydrogen concentration values, and temperature ranges are tabulated.
