Abstract

This chapter lists data of impurity diffusion in aluminum group metals like aluminum (Al), indium (In) and thallium (Tl). Pre-exponential factor (D0) and activation enthalpy (Q) values, solute, temperature range and experimental methods/remarks for aluminum group metals are tabulated. The methods include electron microprobe analysis, resistometric method, surface decrease method, residual activity measurement, microtome sectioning, grinder sectioning, electrochemical sectioning and lathe sectioning.
