7.2.1.5.3.4 Fe-Cr-(23-25) wt % Co alloy system

Abstract

This chapter discusses the magnetic properties of Fe-Cr-(23···25)wt%Co alloy system. Survey of magnetic properties of Fe-Cr-(23···25 wt%)Co alloys in relation to composition and preparation technique is tabulated. Temperature dependence of intrinsic coercive force, remanent induction and saturation magnetization of Fe-Cr-Co-Mo is plotted. Influence of magnetic heat treatment temperature on the saturation magnetization, the remanence and the intrinsic coercive force of Fe-Cr-Co-Mo is illustrated. Influence of the aging time of each aging step on the permanent magnetic properties of Fe-Cr-Co is shown. Relation between the Curie temperature of phase (Cr-rich) and the integrated holding time at various temperatures of Fe-Cr-Co is figured out.
