7.1.3.3.4.2 Fe-V and Fe-Cr alloys

Abstract

This chapter illustrates properties derived from the hysteresis loop for Fe-V alloys and Fe-Cr alloys. Plots of loss L as a function of V and Cr concentration are shown. Further, coercive field as a function of Cr content x after annealing without magnetic field followed by water quenching is illustrated. Various figures showing the alloys with loss after annealing at different temperature in a longitudinal magnetic field are demonstrated.
