Abstract

This chapter contains figures for chemical diffusion in inhomogeneous binary alloys. Interdiffusion coefficient and intrinsic diffusion coefficient in various inhomogeneous binary alloys including Cu-Zn, Fe-Ni, Fe-Si, Fe-Sn, Hf-Ti, Hf- Zr, In-Ni, In-Pb, Li-Mg, Li-Sb, Mn-Ni, Mo-Nb, Mo-Re, Mo-Os, Nb-Ti, Nb-V, Nb-W, Nb-Zr, Ni-Pd, Ni-Pt, Ni-V, Ni-Zn, Pb-Sn, Pd-V, Pt-Re, Ti-V, Ti-Zr and U-Zr binary alloys, at various temperatures are illustrated in the figures. Activation energy and preexponential factor for interdiffusion of Nb-Ti, Nb-Zr, Ti-V and Ti-Zr are plotted.
