7.2.4.6 Hyperfine parameters determined by nuclear magnetic resonance

Abstract

This chapter discusses hyperfine parameters determined by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) at 57Fe and 13C in R2Fe14C. The frequency-corrected spin-echo spectra at 57Fe and 13C in Gd2Fe14C in zero external field in the frequency range 33 - 56 MHz with a pulse distance of 300 μs, T = 4.2 K are plotted. The hyperfine fields Bhyp, obtained from these spectra are given. The Bhyp values determined by NMR at 57Fe are close to those obtained by nuclear gamma resonance.
