7.2.1.2.2.2 Permanent magnet properties of Fe-Ni base alloys as dependent on the preparation technique

Abstract

This chapter provides data on permanent magnetic properties of Fe-Ni base alloys which are dependent on the preparation technique. Survey of Fe-Ni base alloys with different compositions, preparation technique, metallurgical structure, and magnetic properties are tabulated. Hysteresis curves of Fe-Ni-Al-Ti alloy are shown. The dependence of permanent magnetic properties of Fe-Ni-Al-Ti-X and Fe-Ni-Cu-X alloy on annealing temperature is illustrated. The dependence of permanent magnetic properties of Fe-Ni-Al-Ti on the degree of rolling is also shown. The permanent magnetic properties of Fe-Ni-Al-Ti alloy for various angles θ between the applied magnetic field and the rolling direction in the uniaxialization treatment are figured out.
