7.1.3.3.4.5 Co-Fe-TM alloys (TM = Cr, Ni)

Abstract

This chapter illustrates properties derived from the hysteresis loop for Co-Fe-TM alloys (TM = Cr, Ni). Effective permeability of the Co-Fe-TM alloys at a field strength of Heff = 0.72 A/m and a frequency of f = 1 kHz is plotted as a function of Cr content x. Ternary diagram of the effective permeability of the Co-Fe-TM alloys in the as-quenched state at a field amplitude of 0.2388 A/m and a frequency of 1 kHz, and ternary diagram of the coercive field in the as-quenched state are illustrated. Loss and exciting power of the Co-Fe-TM alloy at a peak induction of 0.1 T and at a frequency of 50 kHz, and coercive field, amplitude permeability and remanence ratio are plotted as a function of the annealing temperature.
