Abstract

This chapter contains figures for Fe-based amorphous Elinvar alloys, Ni-based amorphous Elinvar alloys and Pd-based amorphous Elinvar alloys. This chapter illustrates i) temperature dependence of Young’s modulus and shear modulus for alloys as prepared followed by annealing in zero or in a saturating magnetic field for Fe85P15 alloys, ii) temperature coefficient of Young’s modulus for various amorphous alloys annealed for 2 h at temperature Ta for Fe-Si-B alloys, iii) ternary diagram for Fe-Si-B alloy, iv) effect of cold-rolling on the temperature coefficient of Young’s modulus for Ni67Si13B20 and Ni67Si10B23 amorphous alloys, v) relative change in Young’s modulus of ribbons prepared at three roller speed, vi) annealing effect on the temperature coefficient of Young’s modulus and effect of annealing time on the temperature coefficient of Young’s modulus for Pd80Si20 amorphous alloy, and vii) temperature coefficient of Young’s modulus at room temperature versus the revolution number of a roller for Pd80-xSi20Agxalloys.
