Structural, thermal, magnetic and mechanical properties of B-Co-Fe-Ta alloys

Abstract

This chapter provides structural, thermal, magnetic and mechanical properties of B-Co-Fe-Ta alloys. X-ray diffraction patterns, glass transition temperature, activation energy for glass transition, crystallization peak temperature, activation energy for crystallization, stress-strain curves, plastic strain, yield strength, saturation magnetic moment, coercive force, permeability, susceptibility and saturation magnetostriction are notable among the properties reported here.
