Structural, thermal and magnetic properties of B-Fe-Ni-Y alloys

Abstract

This chapter provides structural, thermal and magnetic properties of B-Fe-Ni-Y alloys. X-ray diffraction patterns, DTA curves, DSC curves, glass transition temperature, reduced glass transition temperature, onset temperatures of crystallization, enthalpy of crystallization, activation energy for nucleation, supercooled liquid region, melting temperature, liquidus temperature, GFA parameter, Curie temperature and saturation magnetization are notable among the properties reported here.
