Structural, thermal, mechanical and corrosion properties of Co-Nb-Ni-Zr alloy

Abstract

This chapter provides the structural, thermal, mechanical and corrosion properties of Co-Nb-Ni-Zr alloys containing different ratios of the element. X-ray diffraction profile, critical diameter, differential scanning calorimetry curve, glass transition temperature, crystallization temperature, liquidus temperature, melting temperature, reduced glass transition temperature, enthalpy of crystallization, supercooled liquid region, glass transition parameter, stress-strain curve, Vickers hardness and potentiodynamic polarization curve are notable among the properties reported here.
