Physical, thermal and mechanical properties of Cu-Mg-Nd-Y alloy

Abstract

This chapter provides the general physical, thermal and mechanical properties of Cu-Mg-Nd-Y alloys containing different ratios of the element. Glass transition temperature, crystallization temperature, liquidus temperature, reduced glass transition temperature, melting temperature, supercooled liquid region, critical diameter, enthalpy of crystallization, Young's modulus, shear modulus, bulk modulus, Poisson ratio, yield strength, compressive fracture strength, stress-strain curve, differential scanning calorimetry curve, Debye temperature, mass density, Kissinger plot, activation energy and GFA parameter are notable among the properties reported here.
