Physical, structural, thermal and mechanical properties of Cu-Mg-Y-Zn alloy

Abstract

This chapter provides the general physical, structural, thermal and mechanical properties of Cu-Mg-Y-Zn alloys containing different ratios of the element. Differential scanning calorimetry curve, glass transition temperature, enthalpy of fusion, reduced glass transition temperature, enthalpy of crystallization, stress-strain curve, fracture strength, Young's modulus, crystallization temperature, supercooled liquid region, liquidus temperature, melting temperature, mass density, X-ray diffraction profile, Debye temperature, shear modulus, bulk modulus, Poisson ratio, GFA parameter and Vickers hardness are notable among the properties reported here.
