Physical, structural, thermal, mechanical and corrosion properties of Ca-Cu-Mg-Zn alloy

Abstract

This chapter provides the general physical, structural, thermal, mechanical and corrosion properties of Ca-Cu-Mg-Zn alloys containing different ratios of the element. Mass density, X-ray diffraction profile, heat of crystallization, supercooled liquid region, stress-strain curve, enthalpy of fusion, differential scanning calorimetry curve, amorphous alloy thickness, glass transition temperature, crystallization temperature, liquidus temperature, melting temperature and surface area are notable among the properties reported here.
