Structural, thermal and mechanical properties of Mg-Mm-Ni-Y alloy

Abstract

This chapter provides the structural, thermal and mechanical properties of Mg-Mm-Ni-Y alloys containing different ratios of the element. X-ray diffraction profile, crystallization temperature, differential scanning calorimetry curve, glass transition temperature, supercooled liquid region, tensile strength and bending ductility are notable among the properties reported here.
