Physical, structural, thermal and mechanical properties of Al-Ce-Ni-Si alloys

Abstract

This chapter provides physical, structural, thermal and mechanical properties of Al-Ce-Ni-Si alloys containing different ratios of the element. Mass density, x-ray diffraction profile, DSC curve, thermal expansion coefficient, glass transition temperature, reduced glass transition temperature, crystallization temperature, melting temperature, liquidus temperature, Young's elastic modulus, Vickers hardness, stress strain curve, tensile strength and plastic elongation are notable among the properties reported here.
