Physical, structural, thermal and mechanical properties of Al-Cu-Gd-Zr alloys

Abstract

This chapter provides physical, structural, thermal and mechanical properties of Al-Cu-Gd-Zr alloys containing different ratios of the element. X-ray diffraction profile, DSC curve, mass density, glass transition temperature, reduced glass transition temperature, crystallization temperature, melting temperature, liquidus temperature, critical diameter, GFA parameter, compressive stress strain curve, Vickers hardness and ultimate compressive stress are notable among the properties reported here.
