Physical, structural, thermal and mechanical properties of Al-Cu-Hf-Ni alloys

Abstract

This chapter provides physical, structural, thermal and mechanical properties of Al-Cu-Hf-Ni alloys containing different ratios of the element. Mass density, x-ray diffraction profile, DSC curve, glass transition temperature, reduced glass transition temperature, enthalpy of crystallization, crystallization temperature, phase diagram, melting temperature, liquidus temperature, critical diameter, phase diagram, compressive stress-strain curve, Young's elastic modulus, bulk modulus, Poisson’s ratio, shear modulus, yield strength, plastic strain and tensile fracture strength are notable among the properties reported here.
