Structural, thermal and mechanical properties of Al-Cu-Mg-Y alloys

Abstract

This chapter provides structural, thermal and mechanical properties of Al-Cu-Mg-Y alloys containing different ratios of the element. X-ray diffraction profile, small angle neutron scattering profile, DSC curve, glass transition temperature, onset glass transition temperature, onset crystallization temperature, phase diagram, onset melting temperature, onset nucleation temperature, critical thickness and Vickers hardness are notable among the properties reported here.
