Structural, thermal and mechanical properties of Al-Cu-Pd-Zr alloys

Abstract

This chapter provides structural, thermal and mechanical properties of Al-Cu-Pd-Zr alloys containing different ratios of the element. X-ray diffraction profile, radial distribution function, DSC curve, glass transition temperature, reduced glass transition temperature, crystallization temperature, crystallization peak temperatures, melting temperature, liquidus temperature, compressive stress-strain curve, Young's elastic modulus, plastic strain, Vickers hardness, tensile strength, fracture elongation, compressive fracture strength and corrosion resistance are notable among the properties reported here.
