Structural and thermal properties of Al-Fe-Mn-Pr alloys

Abstract

This chapter provides structural and thermal properties of Al-Fe-Mn-Pr alloys containing different ratios of the element. X-ray diffraction profile, DSC curve, crystallization temperature, melting temperature, liquidus temperature, fusion enthalpy, GFA parameter, potentiodynamic polarization curves, electrochemical transfer resistance, surface oxide film capacitance, oxide resistance, oxide pseudocapacitance, corrosion current density, polarization resistance, open circuit corrosion potential and cathodic Tafel slope are notable among the properties reported here.
