Aluminium 87.05% - silicon 11.95% - magnesium 0.60% - titanium hydride 0.40% (porosity 77%)

The ratio between the size of the largest and smallest cells or thickness of cell walls was approximately one order of magnitude. Cell wall buckling are prominent, some of them are fractured.The cell wall microstructure was essentially that of a coarse (un-modified) Al-Si eutectic and 1.95% oxide content, although some primary Al dendrites were also present.
